Que: What is online training?
Ans: This is a Instructor Led "Virtual Classroom Training". Training delivered through web media (Internet). As an online participant you shall get the same course, instructors and training material, which our in-class-training students get, at a very less fee from the comforts of your home. You get the same training experience except that you are physically absent.

Through Online training, you can avail the benefits of our training program as per your convenience without any need to travel. All you need is a computer with appropriate software, high speed internet, a mic and speaker to interact with the instructor. The candidates can avail best of training without compromising on quality and without having to travel to the facility.

Que: How can I pay the Online Training fees?
Ans: You can pay the training fees by Email Money Transfer, Bank Draft, Certified Check or Money Order or Credit Card* (*Restrictions Apply). Payment would be in favor of “Tekstrom”. Please speak to one of our associate for more details.

Que: What are the standard courses do you offer in online program and what is the duration/ agenda, fees for the course(s)?
Ans: There are different online courses available with different durations and fees. Please refer the Standard Courses section under online training.

Que: How will the online training be conducted?
Ans: Upon enrolling for the online training, you would be provided with the user id and password to login into the training program. Before the start of the training, you would be receiving the instructions on how to login into our Online training program on the schedule date and time. The trainings will be conducted online under the supervision of our highly qualified trainers.

Que: Will instructor be there in online training?
Ans:  Yes our online training program is an Instructor Based Online Training Program. Instructor will be there through out the training session.

Que: What is the basic knowledge requirement to sit in this course?
Ans: Basic operating knowledge of computers and MS Office would be sufficient for learning Manual Testing concepts and Quality Center. However to learn Automation Testing tools like QuickTest Pro, programming background or understanding would be an advantage.

Que: What system or hardware do I need to participate in the Online training course?
Ans: Computer with the appropriate software loaded, High speed Internet Connection, Speakers and Mic to interact with the instructor. Upon enrolling into the training program you would be provided with all the necessary instructors/ requirements.

Que: How can I enroll in this course?
Ans: Please fill in the registration form to enroll into the Online training course. The registration form shows the courses available, Scheduled dates of the batch etc., and you would need to select the appropriate option from the drop down list.

Que: How can I pay for the course?
Ans: While filling in the registration form, there would be a button at the bottom of the page. When you click on the button it would route you to our payment gateway where you can pay for the course through your Credit Card.

Que: How early do I need to register and pay the fees ?
Ans: You would need to pay at least 5 business days before the start date of the training.

Que: After registering for the course, if for some reasons I do not wish to take the training, can I cancel from the enrollment?
Ans: We suggest to review all the details on the website before registering. If for some reasons, after registering, if you would like to withdraw from the training program, you would need to intimate us in writing at least 3 business days before the start of that particular training batch. Please note that there would be admin & processing charges of (25% of the fees paid) and while refunding these charges would be deducted from the fees paid. Training fees is not refundable after the commencement of the course.

Que: After completion of the training, do you assist me in finding a job opportunity?

Que: Will I get any certificate after training?
Ans: Yes, certificate will be awarded after the course is finished but one has to complete our test / Exam successfully in order to get the certificate.

Que: Will you provide the material for the training?
Ans: Relevant soft copy of the material will be given to the participants.

Que: Is this training more of a theoretical training or would you also impart hands on training on different tools?
Ans: Our training program is a combination of Theoretical and practical with more emphasis on practical knowledge.

Que: What is the difference between classroom and online training?
Ans: In the case of class room training the trainer would be physically present in the class room in-front of the training participants and whereas in the case of online training the trainer would providing the training from remote location and the enrolled participants would be from different remote locations. In terms of the quality of the training, there will not be any difference. We ensure that all the quality standards are met in all modes of trainings.

Que: Will I get the software to practice?
Ans: Most of the testing tools software (Trail versions) are freely available on the web.

Que: After undergoing this training, what kind of certifications would add more value to my profile?
Ans: Certifications like CSTE (Certified Software Tester), CSQA (Certified Software Quality Analyst), CASQ (Certified Associate in Software Quality, CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing, HP-AIS (Accredited Integration Specialists) in QC, QTP etc., would add more value to the profile. Ans: Our course has been designed to provide strong foundation in the concepts of software testing and knowledge on software testing tools. This course is more job oriented however whatever will be covered in this course will also help you to prepare for certification.
