Handoff Communicator is a web application has been designed and developed to make the handoff communication between physicians of a hospital during shift change, travel leaves, etc. easier and simpler. The physician can create/modify a handoff sheet before sending it to the handoff physician. The system allows safe, secure and efficient transaction of the handoff sheets which carries highly confidential data.
The main activities when working with HandOff - Communicator are:
Administrator console
The Administrator Console contains various features like-
1. User Account Management:
• Create a new User
• Update an existing User
• Delete an existing User
• Change the Password for an existing User account
2. Upload EMR
• Upload EMR file
Handoff Sheet console
The Handoff Management Console contains features like-
1. Create/Edit/Delete Handoff
2. Viewing an existing Handoff in the “Work in Progress” section
3. Sending a Handoff to another physician
4. Viewing Sent Handoff
5. Viewing Received Handoff
Printing console
Handoff Communicator provides feature for reports generation like patients medical history, in-patients and out-patients records, physician availability and other medical transcripts. Using printing option we can print any of the above reports.
